The Trenton Thunder will continue its battles with the Harrisburg Senators and the rest of the Eastern League South Division in 1999 as the team marks its sixth season in Trenton. While the team hasn't won a championship yet, they have been a big hit with local fans, who sell out most of the team's home games. DeMarlo Hale returns as manager of the Thunder in 1999, with coach Steve Braun and pitching coach Mike Griffen. The team is owned by Garden State Baseball, LP, and Wayne Hodes is the general manager and chief operating officer. The Thunder plan to broadcast all their games on WTTM 1680 AM. Their Web site has schedule and other information about the team, and soon an online store. |
