- The Altoona Rail Kings have an official Web site at http://www.railkings.com/.
- Batting and pitching statistics have been updated.
- The Massachusetts Mad Dogs have announced that pitcher Jay Murphy and centerfielder Roy Marsh have been signed to contracts by the Boston Red Sox for 1997.
July 19:
- The Mad Dogs' Dan Masteller has been signed by the Montreal Expos and assigned to their Double-A form club, the Harrisburg Senators.
- Photos of Fraser Field in Lynn have been added to the photos page.

- Team rosters have been added to the team pages, under each team.
- Daily updates of stats and standings will resume when the league office resumes
sending the info out to me, which they have now done so.

- The Newark Barge Bandits have named Clark Brown, P.T., A.T.C. and Keystone Rehabilitation Systems as official trainer for the 1996 season.
- The Altoona Rail Kings have signed four additional players: Mark Hilyard, a 21-year-old rightanded pitched from Rahway, NJ; Paul Neatrour, a 21-year-old outfielder from Johnstown, PA; Stanley Scales, a 24-year-old right-handed pitcher from Talladega, AL; and Anthony Sharer, a righthanded pitcher from Tyrone, PA.
June 3:
- All Welland home games on Sundays will be held at 5:05pm, instead of 7:05pm
